OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:
- Provides technical analysis and expertise for IT solutions on IT operations within their technical area of expertise.
- Integrates specialized, technical expertise and a consultative approach in solving complex technical problems as individual or as team member.
- Responsible for managing and delivering projects as assigned to meet Takeda IT/Business needs.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provides technical analysis, design, configuration and ongoing maintenance of plant IT landscape according to Takeda standards, industry best practice and a deep knowledge of IT solutions.
- Uses analytical IT processes and independent judgement to develop innovative solutions, executes enhancements, and resolves technical challenges to deliver consistent quality services to IT solutions and platforms.
- Become a technical expert on the site business software applications and digital platforms to ensure they are managed to meet the ongoing business requirements.
- Work with business SMEs and project teams to document technical requirements for new applications.
- Applies System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards to project and field work
- Develops and maintains IT documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS) standards, policies and procedures.
- Establishes relationships with colleagues and vendors and is influential in technical support of projects and ongoing operations, performs procurement activities.
- Acts as a technical system owner for local Site computerized systems (Quality and Manufacturing).
- Manages resources, scheduling, budget, risk, communications, quality and maintain scope of the DD&T projects.
- Adopts and adapts to Takeda’s internal project management practices to ensure department is compliant.
- Managing Service Now incident and requests for Plant computerized systems.
- Application inventory management (CMDB, LeanIX).

- Manufacturing and Lab IT applications (including MES, LIMS, CDS, Historian, ERP) experience
- ITIL knowledge
- IT infrastructure (hosting, network) support and/or implementation experience

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential
- A degree in IT/Computer Science/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or relevant field.
- Ability to write and speak in the English language.
- Dynamic personality, excellent oral and written communications skills, with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks.
- Strong team player, ability to take on different roles within a team
Desired
- Five (5) years of experience in the global companies.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and lab applications, server/network environments.
- Ability to work with Quality Management Systems
- Experience working with project management and agile methodologies
- GxP / FDA / 21 CFR Part 11 regulation and Data Integrity (DI) knowledge
