As a geologist for the Subsurface Geology Group work assignments and duties include: • Perform petrophysical analysis and generating petrophysical reports. • Interpretation and evaluation of well logs, picking formation top, and building stratigraphic and structure frame works. • Generation of geological maps. • Correlation of wells, provision of well tops, and structural/stratigraphical context and working with Area Geophysicists in seismic interpretation. • Calculation of potential hydrocarbon reserves. • Preparation of prospect description for potential drilling locations. • Writing geological reports. • Preparation of presentations for NOC / SOGC periodic technical meetings.

As Wellsite Geologist duties included: • Managing the logging unit as a representative of the company. • Followed up drilling operations for horizantal and vertical wells. • Described well cutting and cores. • Prepared the exploration daily report. • Witnessed and responsible for wireline logging. • Witnessed and responsible for well tests (DST & Production Tests). • Prepared and instructed wellsite geologist course for junior geologists. • Pick formation tops. • Produce Master Log and final reports. • Contribute to unit rig up and rig down of logging system. • Cuttings analysis (calcimetry, sulphate test, fluoroscopy). • Lithotypes description & percentages evaluation. • Thin sections preparation (if requested). • Core handling and identification of the lithology type. • Monitoring drilling parameters. • Contribute to Daily report preparation. • Equipment general maintenance, logging materials management. • Ascertain hydraulic and pressure data as correct. • Gas analysis. • Formation Pressure analysis. • Managing drilling data (versus depth and versus time). • Preparing monthly ticket. • Overall responsibility over the managing of the logging unit,
