• Providing internal and independent oversight to ensure Saudi Aramco Corporate and Drilling&Workover HSE Policies & Standards are met. • Providing full HSE support & services on the rig through the implementation of Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, HSE Requirements and Safe Working Instructions requirements in addition to contractors HSE Standards. • Conducting Rig start-up audits to ensure offshore and onshore drilling and workover rigs comply with Saudi Aramco requirements. • Providing advisory and subject matter expert advice, consultancy and support to Saudi Aramco and contractor staff. • Creating effective working partnership with Rig Liaisonmen (Rig Company men), rig contractors key personnel and Service Company to ensure HSE compliance. • Providing recommendations/solutions to close audit/inspection findings. • Conducting Audits/Inspections to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements. • Raising non-compliance reports (NCR) and addressing them with upper management. • Ensuring that all NCRs are followed up and closed out in agreed timing. • Participating/conducting Near Miss/Incident Investigation as required.

Leading and Managing HSE Department in the Division (14 subordinates including alternates – (Field Safety Coordinator, Training Coordinator, HSE Clerk and Rig Safety Coordinator) • Making sure HSE Management System compliance within the Division: Three Drilling Land Rigs, Drilling/Workover Land Rig and Drilling Base and Mobile Trucking. • Incident Reporting to Regulatory Agencies (Labour Department). • Compiling Reports to Statistical Board. • Working out schedules for conducting Technical and HSE training for personnel. • Orientating new employees in safety; • Coordinating Rig inspections conducted by regulatory agencies; • Making safety related translations; • Arranging registration with GGT(GOSGORTEKHNADZOR) and testing (as per GGT requirements) of Rig equipment plus Cranes; • Division HSE Compliance Tracking and follow up. • Conducting Pictorial Rig Surveys making sure follow up on corrective actions is complete. • Keeping the Equipment Testing and Certification database; • Preparing Quarterly and Annual Reports to Labor Department and Statistical Board. • Implementing Behavioural Based Safety “Du Pont STOP Program” process in the Division; a) Providing with manuals; b) Keeping records of checklists; c) Working out schedules; d) Communicating the program requirements to supervisors; e) Keeping STOP database updated; f) Instructing Russian speaking employees in STOP, including joint observations, etc. • Keeping tracks of Performance Goals process by Rigs: - Check that each incoming crew sets goals; - Draw up the results, verifying if goals are met or not - Consider if goals are achieved while preparing Quarterly Cash/ Certificate Award Reports • Entering data into Quarterly Cash Award Report on a monthly basis, making up reports on a quarterly basis. • Preparing Division man-hour reports on a monthly basis. • Statistical Analysis including TRIR/LTIR calculation. • Arranging regular knowledge testing of Nationals and Expatriates according to Kazakh Laws and regulations: a) providing personnel with manuals and questions; b) arranging and conducting pre-testing seminars as required; c) keeping the Knowledge Testing certificates in order i.e. stamped and signed; d) coordinating the dates of testing, working out schedules; e) making arrangements with Parker Drilling Permanent KnowledgeTesting Commission; • Liaison with Operator’s Loss Prevention group, Safety Dept., etc. • Conducting and participating in Incident and Near Miss investigations. Participating in all on site final Electrical Testing activities, ensuring contractors compliance with Contract Specification, including inspection of the installation of all Electrical Equipment, Instruments and Cables to comply with Chevron’s specifications and procedures.
